Flame throwing Chinese drones are already in use

Drones are being used for everything now from spying on your neighbor to delivering pizza. In Xiangyang, China one power company has found a way to clean power lines with drones.

Previously workers would have to tackle some pretty difficult to get to places in their routine cleaning of the city’s power lines. This would put human workers at risk dealing with the gunked up debris.

Enter the age of the drone. Now a single worker can pilot a drone to the highest power lines and clean them easily. With what you ask? Well fire of course. Yeah, I know… absolutely cool AF!!!

Now we’re not too sure how the fire is cleaning the wires but these guys seem to be having fun and the people that are paying for the drones aren’t asking too many questions so I say let these guys play with their “every guy’s dream” drones until they are executed by the company for wasting funds and bringing shame to all power wire cleaners. I suspect that’s global shame. Heavy.
