Trusted reverend arrested accused of raping a minor

A Cambell County, Tenn reverend is in custody tonight and stands accused of the rape of a minor. Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, claims that Jimmy Orick, pastor of a local church located behind the Food Lion retail store in LaFollette, was allegedly “found to be involved with a minor”.

The victim’s mother allegedly found out about a church meeting where the pastor admitted to the sexual molestation of the girl. She had noticed her daughter was acting strangely in the weeks prior to the revelations. The little girls has now made claims of alleged sexual abuse for at least three months by Orick while she was apparently living with him in Jackboro.

Orick is facing charges of aggravated statutory rate, statutory rape by an authority figure, and sexual battery by an authority figure.
