16 year old Canadian boy pours maple syrup on elderly woman’s chest during break in

In a bizarre report, on Dec 26, 2016 a 16 and 17 year old pair of Ontario (Canada) delinquents that cannot be named due to their age, broke into a Barre home and not only vandalized the residence throwing food everywhere but one of the boys poured maple syrup on 98 year old senior Jean Knox’s chest. Knox is disabled and confined to a wheelchair as well as being hard of hearing. The elderly victim of the disturbing crime claimed to be pretending to sleep while the teen criminals went through her drawers at approximately 4:40 AM EST. The 16 year old boy has plead guilty to the heinous crime and the 17 year old has yet to enter a plea. The next court date is set for March 21, 2017.

Where to begin on this one right? I mean we get it. You’re Canadian. Maple syrup. I mean… we get it.

Actually… WE DON’T GET IT AT ALL! What kind of “human” torments a 98 year old disabled woman? I mean is anyone expecting these kids to amount to anything? Are we looking at something new? Are these boys the delinquent youth of the future? What do the parents have to say about this? Proud day for them for sure.

Perhaps we’re looking at this all wrong. Maybe it’s a good thing they’re getting out of the house and doing something besides staring at their phones trying to catch virtual creatures… or we’re seeing first hand today’s lack of respect for one’s elders mixed with an abundance of neglect by the parents and a healthy amount of “IDGAF”.

Still… maple syrup on her chest? Really?

Do you think that the maple syrup attack looks bad for Canada?
